Required for the site to function — for example, keeping you signed in and remembering items in an in-progress booking. These can't be switched off.

Chat assistant

If you open the “Chat to us” window, we set one strictly necessary cookie (s2c_chat_visitor) containing a random identifier. It exists only to keep your conversation together across messages and to stop the assistant being abused, lasts 30 days, and is not used for advertising or to track you across other websites. Because it is required to provide a service you have actively asked for, it does not need your consent — but it is only ever set once you open the chat, never before. Your choice about whether replies are read aloud is stored in your browser's local storage, not in a cookie, and never leaves your device.

Analytics cookies

We use privacy-conscious analytics (PostHog and/or Google Analytics 4) to understand how visitors move through our booking funnel — for example, whether people who start a quote go on to book. This helps us fix confusing steps and improve conversion. You can opt out of analytics cookies via the cookie banner shown on your first visit.

Managing cookies

You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time. Blocking essential cookies may prevent parts of the site (like staying signed in) from working correctly.
