Trust & vetting

An agency, not an app of strangers

Anyone can list themselves on an open marketplace. Every cleaner goes through the same five stages below before they are sent to a client's home or business — and stays managed, reviewed and accountable afterwards.

Before their first clean: five stages

In order. Nobody is sent to an address until all five are done.

5-stage standard
  1. Application review

    Pre-interview

Every applicant declares their right to work in the UK, and names a person who can vouch for their work or tells us they have none yet, before we move forward.

  2. Interview

    Post-application

A conversation to understand experience, availability, and how far they can travel.

  3. Right-to-work check

    Post-application

A physical or share-code right-to-work check is completed before an applicant's first working day — a legal requirement we never skip, regardless of role.

  4. Reference calls

    Post-application

Once we make a conditional offer, we ask for the referee's contact details and speak to them before the offer becomes final.

  5. Trial shift

    Post-application

New cleaners complete a trial shift, assessed against our quality standard, before joining the regular roster.

Applying rather than booking? See what we ask for — the same five stages, from the other side.

After they join

Not a stage, and not something anyone passes — it is what the other five are for.

Ongoing management

Every visit

One agency stays answerable for the work — you are not handed to whoever accepted a job alert first. Feedback and reviews feed back into who is allocated what, and a visit that goes wrong is ours to put right.

Three straight answers

Insurance, DBS checks, and what happens when a clean isn't right — answered as things actually stand today.

Where we are today: insurance

In progress

We'd rather tell you exactly where things stand than make a claim we can't back up. Our public liability insurance is being arranged ahead of launch, not yet confirmed — so we're not advertising "fully insured" until it's real. Ask us directly before booking if this is a deciding factor — we'll give you a straight, current answer, not a placeholder.

Where we are today: DBS checks

Not yet

We don't run DBS checks — not at Basic level, and not at Enhanced. None of the five stages above looks at a criminal record, and we'd rather write that here than let you assume otherwise. What we do check is the right to work, the references, and how someone actually cleans on a supervised trial shift. If your home or your organisation needs a DBS at any level, tell us before you book and we'll confirm in writing what we can meet.

And if a clean isn't right

Built in

Every completed visit in your account carries a Something wasn't right route. You tell us what happened in your own words and say whether you would rather we came back and finished it, credited your account, or refunded it. It reaches a person here, and the answer comes back in your account's messages — not a support queue you have to keep chasing.

Booked as a guest and never signed in? Tell us and it is picked up the same way.

Straight answers, then a straight price.
