After-Builders Cleaning
The work is finally finished — you shouldn't have to spend the next three days getting the dust out of everything.
Renovation dust gets everywhere, and it doesn't come out with a normal clean. A fixed price by property size, so you can actually move back in. We clean with the hoover and products at the property, and fine dust is much easier with a fine-dust vacuum: if you have one, have it ready; if you don't, tell us before you book.

A second separate oven (a second kitchen's, say) is 1, the lower oven of a double oven is 1, and each extra oven or grill compartment of a range cooker or an Aga is 1: a three-oven range cooker is 2, a four-oven Aga is 3. A warming drawer or a microwave does not count, and a hob is not an oven. It is added to the Inside oven clean, which covers the first oven (an end of tenancy clean already includes one single oven, so there you add only the extra ones). You provide the oven cleaner.
- Inside fridge clean£25.000Shelves and drawers emptied, washed and wiped down, freezer compartment included (not defrosted), for one fridge-freezer in one cabinet. A second fridge or a separate freezer is an Extra fridge or freezer. Please clear out food first — we won't throw anything away without asking.
- American-style fridge£25.000For a wide American-style double-door fridge-freezer: shelves, drawers and the freezer compartment wiped out, not defrosted. A deep clean and an end of tenancy clean already include a standard fridge-freezer, so on those add this only for an American-style unit; everywhere else choose it instead of, not as well as, the Inside fridge clean. A second fridge or a separate freezer is an Extra fridge or freezer.

Count each window you can reach from the floor, in any room: several panes or sashes in one frame are one window, a bay or bow window counts as three however it is built, and each glass panel in an outside door (patio, French, balcony, a glazed back door) counts as one (a pair of French doors is two). Not included: outside faces, anything that needs ladders or access equipment, roof windows, internal doors (glazed or not), mirrors, shower screens and door tracks. We clean the number you book, not all the windows.

- House rather than flat£25.000Covers the stairs, landings and extra circulation space a house has and a flat doesn't. Add this if the property is a house.
- Property is furnished£25.000Cleaning around and behind furniture takes longer than an empty property. We move light items; we don't lift wardrobes, beds or appliances.
Supplies we bring
- We supply the hoover£15.000Optional: the cleaner brings a hoover for this visit, if there is no working vacuum at the property.
- We supply the mop£5.000Optional: the cleaner brings a mop for this visit, if there is nothing at the property to mop with.

Questions people ask
Can the builders still be working while you clean?
No — the property needs to be clear of builders, tools and materials before we start, or the dust simply comes straight back. Allow at least 48 hours after the work finishes.
How is this different from a deep clean?
Construction dust is far finer and more pervasive than household dust, and it needs repeated passes and, ideally, a fine-dust vacuum. After-builders cleaning takes longer and is priced accordingly.
Do you remove paint or plaster splashes?
Where it can be done safely without damaging the surface underneath, yes. We won't attempt anything that risks marking new paintwork or flooring — we'll flag it instead.
